F*ck it. When democracy gets rigged on both ends, what choice do we have but to push back?

In America fairness is an illusion. And the “good guys” are one bad decision away from being bad. Here we are. Watching California do the same exact thing it condemned Texas for.
Governor Gavin Newsom launched a push to override California's Independent redistricting commission, a system made to keep politics out of drawing voting maps. Why? So Democrats can redraw the lines and snatch five more congressional seats.
They’re calling it a counterattack. Critics are calling it what it is: gerrymandering, dressed in blue.
And it’s supposed to “balance out” what republicans already did in places like texas.
But I don't think it’s about fairness, I think it’s more about control. They want to control our choices and mask it as "balance”.
California’s been parading around with its “nonpartisan” redistricting commission like it's some beacon of integrity. And now? They’re throwing that away the second it becomes inconvenient.
This is the stuff that makes people check out.Because if even the people who claim to “stand for democracy” are bending the rules when it suits them… who is actually protecting us?
F*ck it.
I’m tired of pretending this system works.Tired of watching both sides weaponize democracy and call it “strategy.”Tired of seeing power dress itself up in progressivism and expect us to clap.
If California can break its own rules and justify it in the name of “justice,”then maybe the real truth is this: it was never about the rules. It was always about power.
So no. I’m not blindly picking a side. I’m paying attention.
What do you think? are we witnessing a fix or just another flex?
See you next Friday. Same time, different bullsh*t.
